Homeopathic aromatherapy (aromeopathy) is a new generation concept in the field of cosmetology as it combines both the aesthetic and therapeutic effects.

 

The activity of an aromeopathic complex is based on the synergy of homeopathic ingredients and essential oils which enable deep and fast penetration not only into the epidermis but also the dermis of the skin.  This synergy is achieved by the application of highly specialised technology since 1996 at Lilian Terry International (Pretoria, South Africa)

 

During recent years scientific research has been carried out in clinical conditions at the Research Institute of Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Academy of Medical Science (Ukraine) by Dr. K Tsvyetkova together with the head of pathomorphological laboratory Professor T. Zadaroznaya.

 

This publication presents the results from cytological and immuno – histo – chemical investigations of nasal swabs taken from 24 children aged from 3 – 14 years, from when they first presented with acute viral infection. They all showed a strong tendency to recurrence of sinusitis, rhinositis and tracheobronchitis.

 

Nasal swabs were taken before and after ten days of application of the aromeopathic complex Sinoless to the face and inside of the nostrils in order to determine the following values:

• level of macrophage activity amount of B lymphocytes

• index of apoptosis and amount of anti-apoptosis protein bcl - 2 (apoptosis is the genetically controlled death of cells gene while the bcl – 2 prevents apoptosis and keeps cells alive and functional.

The first two indicate the protective function of the mucous membrane while the third is a direct indication of mucous regeneration and its mutagenic activities.

 

Secondary investigation of nasal swabs taken ten days after the viral infection  has proven statistically that application of  Sinoless is extremely beneficial as there is an:

 

• increased level of macrophage activity (from 8.2% to 13.4%)

• increased amount of B lymphocytes (from 3.9% to 5%)

 

These values indicate an increase in the defensive activity of the mucous membrane against viral and bacterial infections.

 

The level of apoptosis significantly increased from 1.6% to 2.5% indicating an increase in epithelial regenerative activity.  A corresponding decrease in anti-apoptotic protein bcl   - 2 from 2.1% to 1.5% was recorded meaning a decrease in mutagenic activity.

 

The examined group of children exhibited a shorter recovery period after being infected and also fewer complications after otitis, sinusitis or bronchitis.

 

Therefore, as a result of clinical cytological and immuno-histo-chemical methods of investigation of nasal swabs, the high level of activity of homeopathic aromatherapy as determined in Sinoless was proven.

 

Daily application of this complex in nostrils and on the face provides a significant improvement in the defensive and regenerative functions of the skin and mucous membranes.

 

Sinoless can be successfully recommended as a prophylactic measure and treatment in acute viral infections of children and adults without side effects or allergic reactions.
